Devy Games to Watch
(23)Kansas St at (7)Texas
Maalik Murphy gets another start for Texas and he might be auditioning for his next program as it’s unlikely he would play over Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers, should he choose to return. Murphy played like a backup last week, with another week of practice under his belt, it will be interesting to see how he does and how he connects with Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell. If he can't, Jonathan Brooks will be the go to guy on the ground. Kansas State has been featuring a duo at Quarterback and True Freshman Avery Johnson has played really well. The highest rated recruit for Kansas State in over 15 years, he is someone that they'll try to implement more as the weeks go on. Kansas State will need a healthy Ben Sinnott to bolster the passing game and keep Texas honest on defense.
Texas A&M at (10)Ole Miss
Texas A&M has been a mess since Connor Weigman went down. They seemed to be clicking on offense prior to the injury. Evan Stewart, who is the overall Wide Receiver 2 in our rankings, has suffered the most with the inept play at Quarterback. The bright spot has been Le’Veon Moss, who regained some of that hype that he came in with last year in that heralded recruiting class. Ole Miss Quinshon Judkins finally looks healthy now and he is reminding us why he was such a devy darling last year.
(12)Missouri at (2)Georgia
Carson Beck is possibly playing his way into the conversation of being the Quarterback 1 for the 2025 class. He looks more and more comfortable as the starter with each passing week and now faces an opportunity for a quality win over a ranked conference opponent. Missouri and Brady Cook will need to look to Luther Burden to have a big game and keep them within range to upset Georgia.
(5)Washington at (24)USC
This will have to be a high scoring affair as USC cannot stop anybody and Washington will score at will. Ja’Lynn Polk has transformed from being a guy to watch for next season to being someone that is too good to not turn pro at the end of the season. He has seized his opportunity and has been arguably the best receiver in that room this year. USC will once again rely on Caleb Williams to do everything for them and USC will need a top effort to pull this one off. MarShawn Lloyd has been effective with his touches and Tajh Washington has been the best receiver for USC.
(14)LSU at (8)Alabama
LSU might be out of the playoffs but they can play spoiler and eliminate Alabama for any slim chance that they might have to get to the postseason. LSU is clicking after a couple of bad losses this year. Malik Nabors is our Wide Receiver 2 of the 2024 class and LSU just has too much fire power for Alabama. Alabama will need Jalen Milroe to play the best hes had all season and need to play mistake free football. Alabama will focus on the run, but they need to take their shots and this might be a game for the Alabama receiving room to step up. Isaiah Bond just might be the guy.
C2C Games to Watch
UTSA at North Texas
UTSA took awhile to find their strides and better late than never. Frank Harris finally looks comfortable and Joshua Cephus has been the WR1 for the team that we have been wanting. North Texas features Quarterback Chandler Rogers who has been protective of the football, with just one interception on the season and his go to target is Jay Maclin, who's the cousin of Jeremy Maclin.
South Florida at Memphis
This will be a fun game to watch with two really good Quarterbacks. South Florida has Byrum Brown and Memphis with Seth Henigan. Brown is a do it all Quarterback and is an electric runner who isn’t afraid to throw it deep to his receivers and Henigan has more weapons around him to compliment his skillset. On the ground Blake Watson is someone who has been electric in his career at Memphis and at Wide Receiver, Roc Taylor is a threat to take it to the house each time.
Louisiana Tech at Liberty
Probably the best Quarterback you’ve never heard of and the best undefeated team you don’t know about. Liberty has Kaidon Salter who is simply electric. He makes plays through the air and with his feet, a former top 100 recruit who found his way to Liberty after being dismissed at Tennessee is a Quarterback with a bright future. He is a devy asset for me and you probably have no idea who he is. He has all the tools to become a viable option at the next level. While at Tennessee, he had a couple of issues and the final straw was possession of marajuana. From all indications, he’s been a different person at Liberty and is focused on football. He is their entire offense and you should find a way to watch him play. Louisiana Tech has a nice asset of their own in Smoke Harris, sometimes these things write themselves.
Utah State at San Diego State
Utah State has a gem on their hands in Wide Receiver Jalen Royals, an unranked athlete who found his way to Utah State from Georgia in a tryout camp, has transformed into one of their best wide receivers, a verified 6’0” 187lbs with 4.3 speed, he is someone that runs routes very well, can turn wide receiver screens into long touchdowns and take the top off the defense. San Diego State isn’t a stout defense that we expect them to be as they have been historically, this has the makings of being an exciting 38-32 game.
Miami at NC State
Just a weekly mention of NC State’s Kevin Concepcion. This true Freshman is playing tremendous football and gaining confidence with every passing week. He’s tied to MJ Morris for the next 3 seasons and they could be building something fun.

Fantasy football was always a hobby, rooting for the Michigan Wolverines was always a passion. It was only a matter of time when the world’s collided. Then came devy, what started as watching film to being a better fan, I became obsessed with finding the next NFL fantasy stud while in college. Devy is a passion and I’m excited to talk about potential stars you may not know about today, and why you should know their name for tomorrow.
